WordPress BloggingI firmly believe that every single talented person on the planet should have a professional Internet presence.

Unfortunately, most entertainers either forego having a website or blog altogether or they rely on free services like MySpace or Facebook as their “professional Internet presence” (which can be a great secondary Internet platforms).

I want to change that and here’s how…

I believe that the BEST possible primary Internet platform is an independently hosted WordPress blog, like the one you are looking at now.

If you don’t have an independently hosted WordPress blog, I’m going to show you how to set one up and get it going.

If you do have an independently hosted WordPress blog, I am going to show you how to squeeze the most visibility, traffic and income from your blog.

This blog will also have a special weekly newsletter (find out more about that here).

If you are ready, let’s get started.

The blog you are looking at now is hosted by BlueHost. It took me all of 5 minutes to install this blog with just a few button clicks in my hosting control panel (I will be going through this step-by-step in future blog posts).

The theme I am using is the free Flexilibility Theme, which I think you will find quite professional. It took me about 90 minutes to configure this theme, mainly because I spent time going through all the theme options available and choosing a color that I liked.

The very next thing I did was add some critical plugins that I know to be essential to my blogging efforts.

Now this blog is far from finished — I have much to add over the coming weeks. I will be discussing each plugin and technique that I use to get the most out of this blog and why I use them as we move along.

While this blog will be geared towards helping entertainers with their Internet presence, the techniques, methods and strategies that I present can be used by anyone who wants to profit online.

Which brings me to a very important point…

I don’t blog for my health or a great sense of community service. I blog because I have something to say and I want to profit from it.

If you have no desire to profit from a blog, this blog is probably not for you.

I hope you take advantage of this opportunity and pay close attention to what I have to offer on this blog.

Cheers,
