Your resume is of performances at venues, not identified as open mics. Do your B material and you will get a B (or worse) response. If you are worried about material being stolen then it is probably “generic” and not personalized — making it much more difficult to steal.

But it’s not my job to tell folks how to “roll” so to speak. It’s up to each comedian. I only provide what I know as a headlining comedian for 11 of the 13 years I was actively performing.

The short answer – right now, no. But as you begin performing at multiple venues — even open mics — you will need to start putting together a bio and resume (listing) of venues that you perform at (it’s called an EPK – electronic press kit).

Just like your stand-up comedy act grows and develops, so will your EPK — which is nothing more than a simple website that folks can look at to find out about who you are, where you have performed and how to contact you.

The info on how to put together a pro EPK for free is included in my course. But for now, focus on your act, having fun and getting the biggest laughs you can.
